Mark N. Brady

Hi, I’m Mark. I started taking photos on a little film camera I found in my grandpa’s attic in Colorado, way back in the day. It had green felt on the grips and took a roll of 35mm film I bought from the corner Walgreens.

Back then I liked to take pictures of tigers at the Denver Zoo and photos of pictures of tigers and sharks in National Geographic magazines. Getting the envelope of developed prints was a thrill.

Some decades later I took up photography again. For the thrill.

I’ve also worked as a writer alongside photographers at the Smithsonian Institution and on behalf of small towns, unique hotels, cheesemakers, luthiers, artisans, musicians and martial artists worldwide.

I continue, in this spirit, to photograph the wonders I get to see, the places I get to travel and the people I get to meet along the way.
